There is now an easy way to change the value of memory or the value of any of the registers. Windows that contain memory or registers have a pencil in the upper left hand corner, with a cross through the pencil, like below

Clicking on the pencil makes each field editable. Clicking in a field lets you modify the contents of the reigster, or if you are viewing memory, directly change memory
